Reading the New York Times article on the recently sold Sewelo Diamond (2nd largest diamond ever found) I was reminded by the diamond we recently talked about in class (pictured above) relating to Jill Magid. That particular picture is from a 2016 interview in Art Forum, and the picture below is the recently discovered Sewelo Diamond itself. The diamonds added (disproportionately) together have a carat count of over 1760 carats, although interestingly enough, both are of almost equal [figurative] weight.
