IKEA removes parking spaces to reduce car traffic

The new IKEA store in Vienna will not have any parking spaces in a move to reduce shoppers from driving to the store. It is interesting how shop designs like this can “force” people to be more environmentally conscious. Especially since this move isn’t probably the most economically sensible option for IKEA. The new store also has a rooftop garden with trees planted on the top and when you shop there they deliver anything you buy.
