“When the Neighborhood’s Not Looking” by Billy Cress

I came across Photographer Billy Cress’s collection that he named, “When the Neighborhood’s Not Looking”. I thought this collection of photos really resonated with what I heard at a UI/UX workshop I went to this past week. The presenter explained how we could look at nature for color palette inspiration. I think Cress does a really good job capturing beauty in something ordinary that we often overlook such as a man painting a wall or ivies growing on the wall. I just wanted to share some pictures with everyone to encourage people to observe their surroundings more because art is everywhere and in everything.
