Broadway Boogie Woogie

I know this is like an example of what not to do when doing Project 1.3, but this is the first thing that came into my mind when we were talking about drawing cities in abstract. Maybe this isn’t super abstract, but I definitely get the feeling of NYC and taking the metro from this painting. Also I just like how Mondrian used his colors; they’re all primaries, but the way he places them really makes them pop.
