This week I thought I would share an interesting YouTube account that I’ve been following. Martin O’Donnell is an American composer whose is most recognized for his time at Bungie working on the Halo franchise. Although his time at Bungie is complete, he often uploads old recordings of works in progress. Besides simply uploading these pieces, he often includes detailed explanations of his thought processes as the piece goes on, noting which instruments are missing or the aim of the piece. I am not a musician, but its still interesting to see the artistic process.
