Coronavirus and Art

Art Basel, an international art fair which sells contemporary art in Hong Kong (among other cities in the world), has shut down its show in China which was to take place in March. Even if the outbreak was to be contained in time, the 14 day quarantine required to enter and leave makes it nearly impossible to set up such a big event. Any businesses in Hong Kong that are non-essentials, including art, are suffering.
